Introduction

Korea Electric Power Corp (KEPCO) is an integrated electric utility. It generates, transmits, and distributes electricity. The company produces electricity using nuclear, thermal, renewable, and other sources. Through power purchase agreements with independent power producers, KEPCO procures electricity. It also provides plant maintenance and engineering services for thermal and nuclear power plants; information services and communication line leasing; and sells nuclear fuel. KEPCO serves residential, commercial, educational, industrial, agricultural, street lighting, and overnight power customers in the country. The company is owned by Korea Development Bank, foreign investors, Government of the Republic of Korea, and others. KEPCO is headquartered in Naju-si, Jeollanam-do, South Korea.
